Dr. Diedra L. Clay, Founding Member of SeaGate Psychological Services, PLLC, is a licensed Clinical Health Psychologist specializing in working with individuals, couples and families. She maintains a full time private practice in the Madison Park area of Seattle, WA. She was educated at Whatcom Community College, Bellingham, WA, Seattle University, Seattle, WA, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and the Washington School of Professional Psychology, Seattle, WA.
Dr. Clay was the Chair and Associate Professor of the Counseling Psychology Department at Argosy University, Seattle, WA and an Associate Professor and the Chair the Counseling & Health Psychology Department at Bastyr University, Kenmore, WA. With over 29 years experience as a psychotherapist specializing in Health and Forensic Psychology, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients for testing and psychotherapy.
Dr. Clay is an interactive, relationship-focused psychotherapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
