I have been working in the mental health field since 2010. I began working with many clients who had developmental disorders and Autism; teaching life skills, and behavioral management. In 2012, I started working with children and families within a home and community setting. Teaching behavioral techniques/plans, coping skills, parenting techniques/skills, and assisted with 504 plans with school districts. I finished my master’s in clinical, mental health counseling degree in 2016, and began working with adults, running groups, and completing intakes. I have experience working with addictions, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, ODD, personality disorders, Autism, and developmental disorders.
In therapy, I use many different modalities. I most commonly use CBT, behavioral therapy, Narrative, Gestalt, and art therapy. I also use motivational interviewing, family systems, and person-centered. I provide services and therapy based on the client’s individual needs and culture. I use assessments every three months to monitor progress along with client surveys.
