Hello, my name is Marie. I am a physician by training and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Substance Use Disorder Professional.
I have extensive experience working with soldiers, retirees, veterans, and their family members struggling with substance use, suicide ideation, various forms of trauma, grief, and different levels of depression and anxiety.
As a therapist, I believe in treating the whole person – mind, body, and soul. By combining the therapeutic approaches of the Person-Centered Theory of counseling, Motivational Interviewing techniques, and Mindfulness-based therapy, we can cultivate real and lasting change.
I approach every client and every session with genuine care, compassion, and empathy. All that I require of you is honesty, trust, and an open mind ready to do the work needed to heal and achieve your personal long-term goals.
